Questions to ask when looking at Therapeutic Boarding Schools

1. Are they a member of NATSAP?
   
2. Is the entire school accredited, or just the academics?
   
3. How much parent involvement is there?
   
4. How often are parents allowed on campus?
   
5. Is the student involved in the admissions process?
   
6. Does the school have a directed experiential education program?
   
7. Does the school have team sports?
   
8. Does the school engage in therapy, or just counseling, and what type of therapy, Individual? Group? Family?
   
9. How many classes are offered at one time?
   
10. Does the school give kids real world experiences, or are they kept in a “bubble?”
