Ernie Taylor grew up in Orem, Utah. He attended all three major universities in the state of Utah, graduating from BYU with a Bachelors, and the University of Utah with his Masters Degree in Social Work. Ernie has been working for the past 30 years in other RTCs holding various positions, including, Therapist, Residential Director, and Program Director. For the past 10 years he has been the Clinical Director of a large RTC.
Ernie's wife is from Brasil, and he loves traveling to visit her country. He has 4 children who are all teenagers, so he knows what is like to live with teenagers who already know everything. Ernie enjoys sports and all of his children are actively participating in many sports, he is often a "soccer mom" to his kids. He enjoys the Arts, sports and just about any outdoor activity!
Ozlem Kence comes from a rich background working with youth for the past 21 years. She received her undergrad in psychology from the Middle East Technical University located in Turkey and her masters in social work at the University of Utah and has been practicing therapy since 2005. Since graduating she has worked in many different settings and has worked with many different people but her passion is working with youth and families.
She loves spending time with her family, reading and being in the outdoors.
Sarah grew up in the Philadelphia area and received her bachelor's degree from Drew University, a small liberal arts school in New Jersey. After earning her masters degree from Columbia University, Sarah went on to work with individuals in every stage of recovery, from mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and substance abuse issues.
She brings to the team a strong background in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and values carefully tailoring therapeutic interventions to each unique student and family unit. She particularly enjoys working with kids struggling socially. Sarah enjoys living high in the Utah mountains, recreating and taking in the views with her husband and dogs.
