After working as a Wilderness Therapy Guide in North Carolina, Ileana moved to Utah in search of big mountains and the greatest snow on earth. Ileana has been in the Experiential Education Department for four years and has held a variety of positions within the department before taking over the leadership role. She is an avid outdoors woman and in her spare time races mountain bikes at the professional level.
Kristina Bland went to school at the University of California San Diego. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in linguistics but found that her second passion and talent was teaching outdoor education. She has taught month long teen adventure excursions in Washington, California, and Maine, teaching backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, white water rafting, and outdoor cooking and living skills to teens from around the world.
She has also lead week long field trips for schools all over California to teach academic subjects in the field. Kristina has her Emergency Medical Technician Certificate and is fluent in Spanish, and is excited to be living in the mountains of Utah where there are so many great sports to teach!
